Trade pathways

Professionals

Role-based journeys for salons, wholesale buyers, distributors and private-label partners.

Salon professionals

Salon purchasing is the entry pathway for qualified stylists and salon owners who apply extension methods, fit hair systems, or maintain client results with professional-grade hair and consumables. It is not wholesale volume pricing and it is not distribution — it is trade supply scoped to a verified salon or freelance professional identity, with method literacy and aftercare responsibility assumed on the buyer side.

Before ordering, confirm that the construction you intend to offer is within current supply status on the relevant product authority page. Extension methods are documented on Hair Extensions; alternative hair for women and men is on Wigs & Hair Systems. Where a family is manufactured by Sach & Vogue, made-to-order fields — colour, length, weight, texture and approved bond or weft options — apply subject to production confirmation. Partner-sourced or enquiry-only families carry explicit disclosure and must not be assumed interchangeable with in-house manufacture.

Salon professionals typically order repeat quantities aligned to appointment volume. Application training is available through the Academy for approved methods; trade supply and training are separate commercial journeys. Trade pricing and catalogue access are confirmed only after enquiry review.

Wholesale

Wholesale ordering is a volume pathway for approved trade buyers purchasing Sach & Vogue manufactured hair — and selected partner lines where explicitly permitted — at role-gated terms distinct from single-salon replenishment. Wholesale approval reflects documented order pattern, business registration and product literacy; it does not automatically confer distributor status, territory rights or private-label entitlements.

Wholesale buyers plan around SKU-level specifications: method family, colour code, length, gram weight or piece count, Ratio and Draw Class where relevant, and packaging if not default. Incomplete specifications delay quotation because production and packing lines are reserved against confirmed batches.

Wholesale is appropriate when your operation repeatedly consumes the same approved constructions across multiple stylists or locations under one legal entity. It is not a shortcut to regional exclusivity; see Distributors when territory and resale obligations are part of the commercial model.

Distributors

Distribution is a contractual pathway beyond wholesale purchasing. A distributor relationship may include defined territory or channel focus, minimum purchase or sell-through targets, brand presentation rules, stock-holding expectations and reporting — all documented in a separate agreement from standard wholesale terms.

Wholesale volume alone does not upgrade a buyer to distributor status. Likewise, distributor approval does not imply manufacture of every product family listed on the public site: partner-sourced wigs and hair systems remain subject to partner terms and must not be represented as wholly in-house production. Manufacturing scope for Sach & Vogue owned production is described on Manufacturing.

Distributor enquiries should state the intended market (country or region), existing salon or retail network, categories you plan to lead with (extensions, systems, supplies, private label), and whether you require exclusive or non-exclusive arrangements. Exclusivity, where offered, depends on category, territory size and demonstrated channel capability — it is never implied from a first order.

Enquiry-led programme

Private label

Private-label programmes place your brand identity on approved product and packaging within Sach & Vogue manufacturing or authorised packing workflows. Availability is product-family specific: not every construction supports private label, and partner-sourced lines follow partner rules rather than factory label templates.

Verified packaging minimum order quantities for private-label components are:

  • Magnetic box — MOQ 500 units
  • Fabric bag — MOQ 1,000 units
  • Card plus transparent packaging — MOQ 5,000 units

Effective MOQ for any private-label programme depends on the combined packaging and product schedule — hair MOQ, label MOQ and assembly complexity are confirmed together at quotation stage, not inferred from packaging figures alone.

Private label requires artwork approval, regulatory-compliant label content for your target market, and clarity on which claims your brand may make at SKU level (origin, method, Remy usage, etc.). Hair Intelligence articles explain why marketing language must match batch truth — overstated claims create compliance and returns risk for your channel.

Private label is not custom formulation by default: colour and construction still map to approved production options unless a separate custom production review applies.

Manufactured by us — feasibility required

Custom production

Custom production is made-to-order manufacture against your specification within approved Sach & Vogue methods — custom colour requests, non-standard lengths, texture programmes, weft widths, bond formats and batch sizes subject to laboratory and line feasibility. It differs from private label primarily in product specification depth; branding may still be factory default unless a private-label packaging programme is also contracted.

Custom jobs require explicit construction documentation: method, end use (salon application vs resale), chemical-history acceptance (virgin intake vs factory-coloured processed hair), gram or piece targets, tolerance for shade variation, and lead-time window. Feasibility review may decline or propose alternates when a request falls outside validated equipment or colour reproducibility limits.

Partner-sourced categories are not silently substituted into custom production quotes. Where manufacture is in-house, production truth is aligned with the public Manufacturing authority; where sourcing is partner-led, quotes reference partner supply status explicitly.

Professional supplies

Professional supplies cover tools, beads, micro rings, tapes, adhesives, maintenance products and application consumables used alongside hair orders — not replacement for specifying the hair itself. SKUs in this category require supply-status classification before commerce activation; availability may trail extension and system hair families during platform rollout.

Supplies purchasing is typically aligned to the methods you certify stylists to perform — ring sizes matched to declared hair diameters, tapes matched to approved extension widths, system adhesives matched to base materials on Wigs & Hair Systems. Ordering supplies without method context increases mis-specification and return rates.

Salon and wholesale buyers may add supplies to an approved account order once trade status is confirmed. Supplies alone do not unlock wholesale or distributor tiers without the corresponding hair-purchasing profile and business verification.

International shipping

International shipping for professional orders is handled case-by-case for approved trade relationships while export logistics and platform checkout rules continue rollout. Enquiries should state destination country, import role (salon, wholesaler, distributor), preferred incoterms if your organisation uses them, and whether shipments combine hair, supplies and branded packaging from private-label programmes.

Customs classification, import licensing, VAT treatment and courier restrictions vary by jurisdiction. Accurate invoice data depends on the same SKU-level specification used for manufacturing quotation. Export readiness does not bypass account approval.

Pathway comparison

Use this table to route your enquiry to the correct commercial track. Over-stating ambition (for example, requesting distributor terms when you need salon replenishment) slows approval because compliance review must reconcile role, volume and contractual obligations before quoting.

Comparison of professional trade pathways
Pathway Typical buyer Primary intent Approval basis Not included
Salon professional Salon owner, employed senior stylist, freelance extensionist Client work replenishment, method-matched hair Salon or professional identity, method literacy Wholesale tiers, territory exclusivity, private-label MOQ programmes
Wholesale Multi-chair salon group, regional wholesaler without territory contract Repeat volume on approved SKUs Documented volume, registered trade entity Distributor exclusivity, automatic private label
Distributor Importer, brand house, national sub-distributor Channel sales with targets and presentation rules Signed distributor agreement, territory and category plan In-house manufacture of partner-only lines
Private label Brand building on approved factory or packing programmes Branded presentation at verified packaging MOQ Artwork approval, programme-specific MOQ (see Private label section) Guaranteed exclusivity unless contracted
Custom production Buyers needing non-catalogue specification within approved methods Made-to-order batches Feasibility review, full construction brief Partner hair silently relabelled as manufacture
Professional supplies Any approved trade account Tools and consumables matched to methods SKU supply status active Standalone account tier without hair profile

Next step: identify your pathway, assemble the enquiry fields in Request a quote, and submit one consolidated professional enquiry — not parallel messages with partial specifications.

Open a professional account

Professional accounts are opened through enquiry and manual approval — there is no self-service registration, login or trade checkout on this review site. Account opening confirms your role (salon, wholesale, distributor or combined where permitted), billing identity, default shipping destinations and which product authorities you may order against once activated.

Submitting an enquiry is not instant account activation. Review confirms that stated pathways match intended order pattern: a salon account should not be used to proxy undisclosed wholesale redistribution; a wholesale account does not include distributor exclusivity unless contracted. Private-label and custom-production interests should be declared at account opening so MOQ and lead-time rules attach to the correct programme before first purchase.

Training credentials from the Academy support method qualification but do not replace trade approval for supply accounts. Academy completion certificates are education records; commercial terms remain enquiry-led.

Request a quote

Quotations are prepared from complete specifications — not from marketing names alone. Accurate pricing requires manufacturing or sourcing clarity, packing programme, shipment profile and repeat-order expectation. Partial enquiries produce provisional ranges or requests for clarification; they do not constitute published price lists and should not be treated as firm offers until confirmed in writing.

Enquiry-readiness framework

Include the following in a single professional enquiry via the site contact route (contact). Missing fields are the most common cause of quotation delay.

  • Salon or company name — legal trading identity for invoice and account records
  • Country — where goods will be imported or consumed
  • Product method — e.g. tape-in, keratin bond, micro-ring, machine weft, clip-in, named wig or hair-system base
  • Colour — shade code or reference within the 141-colour architecture, or custom colour brief if requesting laboratory match
  • Length — inches or centimetres, stating unit
  • Required grams or quantity — per piece, per set, or batch total
  • Construction requirements — bond size, weft width, draw/Ratio class, texture, ends, packaging if non-default
  • Target client or use — salon application, retail resale, education, film/theatre, etc.
  • Private-label requirement — yes/no; if yes, packaging type and artwork status
  • Expected repeat-order pattern — one-off, seasonal, monthly replenishment, distributor container cadence

Why specification completeness matters: hair pricing is driven by labour and yield in manufacturing (sorting, ratio, colouring, bonding), material waste by construction, packaging MOQ for branded programmes, and logistics by weight and destination. A quote for “Remy tape hair, balayage, 18 inch” without gram weight, width, shade reference and order cadence cannot be accurate — the factory cannot reserve colour laboratory time or allocate weft capacity against undefined batches. This site does not publish unit prices, tier tables or promotional discounts; any figures communicated to you arrive only after review of a complete brief.

Acknowledge supply status for each requested family: manufactured, partner-sourced, or enquiry-only. Ordering against an inactive SKU on the public catalogue is not permitted even when similar language appears in third-party marketing.

Professional FAQs

Does wholesale purchasing make me a distributor?
No. Wholesale and distributor pathways are separate. Volume purchasing may qualify you for wholesale terms after review, but territory rights, targets and presentation obligations require a distributor agreement. Do not represent exclusivity to your salons unless contracted.
Can I open a trade account online?
No. There is no self-service account form or checkout on this site. Open a professional account by submitting a complete enquiry through the existing contact route with the readiness fields listed under Request a quote.
What private-label packaging MOQs are confirmed?
Verified packaging MOQs are magnetic box 500 units, fabric bag 1,000 units, and card plus transparent packaging 5,000 units. Total programme MOQ also depends on the hair product schedule and assembly — confirmed only in quotation.
Why was my quote delayed or marked provisional?
Quotes stall when specifications are incomplete — missing gram weight, ambiguous colour reference, unstated method, or undeclared private-label artwork. Accurate pricing requires batch-level clarity; provisional figures are not substitutes for confirmed written offers.
Are Academy certificates required to buy trade hair?
Training supports safe application but commercial supply is approved on trade criteria — business identity, pathway, specification literacy and order pattern. Academy and supply accounts are related but not automatically linked without enquiry review.
Do you publish price lists for professionals?
No. Product prices, tier tables and discount schedules are not published on HairExtensionsTR. All commercial pricing is communicated after specification review through the professional enquiry process.
