What Keratin Bond hair extensions are
Keratin Bond strands are individual portions of human hair finished with a cured keratin tip. Installers fuse or apply that tip to isolated natural hair for face framing, density correction, parting zones and full-head plans that need strand-level control.

Each strand is portioned human hair finished with a keratin tip of a chosen geometry. Flat tips present a wider footprint for broader sections. U and V profiles support different fusion angles and section shapes. I tips present a linear pre-tipped end that can also be used within Micro Ring application architecture — but the extension hair and any ring or bead remain separate components.
Strand weight is specified independently of tip shape. Ordering “Flat” does not imply a gram weight; ordering “0.9 g” does not imply a tip family. Mixing those fields without writing both is a common buying error.

Lighter micro formats increase strand count per gram delivered and change labour geometry; they are not automatic upgrades for every fine-hair client.
